These are the recordings of a 3-Day intensive workshop to create original creature designs.

DAY 1: Borrowing from the traditional kitbashing techniques we’ll create our own set of abstract objects to then add to a base mesh and explore unique silhouettes and forms. You can create multiple sets with different styles of objects (soft forms vs sharp edges) to create very different styles in your concepts. This is a general idea for something that works in a variety of software so it is not unique to ZBrush. you can even do something similar in 2D.

In this first part of the workshop the focus is on collecting references and getting inspired for whatever creature you want to make.
