Passive Voice ➡️ is a grammatical construction in which the subject of a sentence is not the doer of the action, but rather the receiver of the action.
Passive Voice ➡️ subject + finite form of be (where the verb shows tense, person or number) + past participle (V3)
e.g., The book was written by the author.
Passive is used when ⤵️
⚪️ the doer is unknown
⚪️ the doer is unimportant
⚪️ the focus is on the action rather than the doer
