A YouTube Channel Manager is fundamentally a Content Manager. This entails file management of assets, uploading content, applying metadata, thumbnails, and publishing it. It can be, and has for me, been an organic audience development position that relies heavily on data and analytics. The goal is to ultimately define your audience, optimize your owned media for said audience, and drive engagement for long-term growth. It is a never ending cycle of content ideation, test and experimentation, review, and optimization.
