I went on a long journey from Europe to Africa without flying. It took me 7 days to get from the Netherlands to Mauritania! I took 5 trains, 4 buses, 3 minivans and 1 ferry.
The reason for this trip was to hop on the Iron ore train through the Sahara desert in Mauritania.
