How to Replace a Windshield Washer Nozzle on a Honda Pilot
How to replace the washer nozzle on a Honda Pilot. This is a 2011 model, but this process applies to many other Honda models. With age, these washer nozzles will eventually break, now allowing the washer fluid to be sprayed on your windshield. I have already replaced the one, then the other broke. For a temporary fix I used adhesive filled shrink tube that did work for a short period. Then it came apart so I tapped it up to keep the pressure in so one washer jet was still working. #hondapilot #honda #diy

Tools/Supplies Needed:
-pliers
-small pick
-new washer nozzle
Procedure:
-Typically there’s a piece of broken plastic in the connection fitting, however, this one filled out.
Once the outer black plastic retaining ring is removed, you can use a small screwdriver or pick to remove the broken connection.
Use pliers to push in the clips on the washer nozzle on the hood, then remove.
Clean the area around the washer nozzle before installation.
Here is the new washer nozzle. As you can see the old one is missing the connection.
Install the new nozzle, it just snaps into place.
Snap the retaining ring back into place fitting.
Now snap that fitting into place on the nozzle.
If you are having problems getting it seated, you may need pliers to squish the connection together.
After that, a quick test can be done to ensure everything works correctly.
