Handling forks can be very cumbersome, and require a ton of code. dfuse utilizes our forkdDB and forkable handler within the bstream service to track forks, the irreversibility status of blocks, allowing you to easily deduplicate your dataset and follow the longest chain.

The "dfuse for EOSIO — Architecture" is a new series where Alexandre Bourget, Co-Founder & CTO @ dfuse, will give developers an overview of the entire "dfuse for EOSIO" architecture and all of the micro-services that it encompasses.

"dfuse for EOSIO" is the open source technology used by dfuse. It includes all of dfuse.io's services for EOSIO, running from your laptop or from a container, and released as a single statically-linked binary: dfuseeos. You can find the open-source repository at https://github.com/dfuse-io/dfuse-eosio - star that repo to show us some love!
