Our bstream instrumentation runs a handler function to attach lots of useful information to blocks as they are consumed by the dfuse infrastructure. In part 1 of this technical deep-dive, Alex is getting into the tranches to show you how dfuse operates and can provides the level of detail that it does.

The "dfuse for EOSIO — Architecture" is a new series where Alexandre Bourget, Co-Founder & CTO @ dfuse, will give developers an overview of the entire "dfuse for EOSIO" architecture and all of the micro-services that it encompasses.

"dfuse for EOSIO" is the open source technology used by dfuse. It includes all of dfuse.io's services for EOSIO, running from your laptop or from a container, and released as a single statically-linked binary: dfuseeos. You can find the open-source repository at https://github.com/dfuse-io/dfuse-eosio - star that repo to show us some love!
