Adding Effects like Reverb is always a nice way to add space and depth to a mix, but if those Effects treatments are ‘static’, it’s easy for them to become a little dull or ‘taken for granted’ in the ear of the your listeners. Starting with a Plate Reverb treatment, we’re going to see how Volume Automation can shape an Effects Return, before doing something similar, but inverted, with a Delay treatment. Then we’re going to add a third effect, weaving multiple lines of Automation to shape and change a Reverb over a longer section of the track’s Arrangement.
