🔧 Driver Construction: After initial tests on a #breadboard, I transferred and soldered the circuit onto a #perfboard. Given the current availability of only small, non-finned heat sinks, I incorporated a cooling fan to ensure adequate heat dissipation.
📟 Control and #DAQ Analysis: The circuit is managed by an #Arduino, which I programmed to generate a square wave control signal. Using my 🔺DEWESoft Sirius XHS, I meticulously analyzed this signal to fine-tune the motor control. This analysis was crucial in determining the precise requirements for efficient motor operation.
⚙️ Performance and Challenges: The custom code incrementally increases the motor speed, showcasing smooth and progressive acceleration. However, I've noted that the Arduino is reaching its limits, particularly when dealing with millisecond fractions required for high-speed operation.
