I Should Have Watched Shirobako Sooner
So this video took me far too long to finish simply because I've had little to no motivation in the past few months. While I don't owe anyone a video, I still feel bad all the same for those that have potentially been waiting for a while.
Both the Kendrick conversation with Rick Rubin and Shirobako emerged at a great time, where the ideas I gathered from both of them coalesced into this smaller project. I think we've all felt that "feeling of accomplishment" before after completing something we really put all our effort into and seeing it reflected in both struck a chord.
This is far shorter than the past few efforts, but I hope it has a nice punch! I spent a fair amount of time on some of these edits as I wanted to up my game yet again when it comes to visual touches. Plus, I wanted to really get better at being more concise with a project like this and all in all - despite the time it took - I'm happy with this one. You might say I have that precise feeling Kendrick gets at in that conversation.
