How to Reset your Mac password
Forgot your Mac login password? You can reset it! It just takes a few careful steps.*
IMPORTANT: In this video, I show you how to reset your Mac admin password -- if it is not connected with your Apple ID or iCloud. If you have chosen to allow your Apple ID to reset your Mac password, the steps will be different, as it has to connect to your Apple account.
Disclaimer: I usually don't advise using Terminal, so use extreme care with this step!
