Second Harvest Food Distribution Event
On May 15, 2020, Barriere’s LaPlace-based Construction Group and Second Harvest Food Bank, South Louisiana’s largest anti-hunger network, partnered up with St. John the Baptist Parish to safely host their third food distribution together. The drive-through event provided nutritious shelf stable meals to 450 pre-registered families in need. Parish President Jaclyn Hotard and Bert Wilson, Barriere President, Asphalt/Material Operation and Second Harvest Board member, showed up in support of one of the Parish’s largest food distributions to date. Barriere is partnering with its client Entergy for an even larger distribution next month.
