The so-called boars are the most outstanding artistic expression of the Vettonian culture, which flourished between Toledo, Cáceres, Salamanca, and Ávila. In this video, we explore the mythical meaning of these boars and the possible interpretations of these sculptures, drawing on an article by Professor Martín Almagro Gorbea entitled "Meaning of the Vettonian Boars from a Comparative Mythology Perspective."
