2 Days in Genting Highlands 🇲🇾 | Temples in the Clouds, Onsen Hotel & Theme Park Chaos
Planning a trip to Genting Highlands, Malaysia? In this video we spend 2 days exploring Genting Highlands, one of the most unique mountain resorts near Kuala Lumpur.
Our trip starts with the Genting Skyway gondola, giving incredible views of the mountains and the famous Chin Swee Cave Temple, a beautiful temple built high in the clouds. We explore the pagoda, walk through the temple grounds, and discover some of the most scenic viewpoints in the highlands.
Next, we stay in a Japanese onsen themed hotel, where we relax in hot spring baths surrounded by mountain views. It was the perfect way to celebrate our anniversary and unwind after a day of exploring.
On day two we visit Genting Skyworlds Theme Park, a massive outdoor theme park with movie themed rides and attractions. Unfortunately the weather had other plans for us, with heavy rain and technical difficulties stopping many rides. But we still managed to explore the park, try a few attractions, and check out the indoor entertainment area including arcades and the Ripley's Believe It or Not museum.
Genting Highlands turned out to be a mix of fun, surprises and a little frustration, but it is definitely a unique destination worth visiting if you are travelling through Malaysia.
