Mulch Fest is an annual tree recycling event all over NYC. Go to
nycgovparks.org/highlights/festivals/mulchfest to find your nearest mulch fest location. This Saturday Jan 9 is the last day to bring your tree to a participating location. On Saturday you can ✨bring your own bag✨ so you can take home some mulch to use in your backyard or to make a winter bed for a street tree. 🌲
You can also put your tree out on the curb — the DSNY is conducting curbside collections for mulching and recycling of Christmas trees until Jan 15th!
