Bruce Springsteen - Lucille [live at the Stone Pony, Asbury Park, NJ September 14, 2024]
Bruce dropped in to play a mini set at the legendary Stone Pony along with Danny Clinch (on harmonica), Robert Randolph (on pedal steel guitar), Jake Clemons (on sax) and the Tangiers Blues Band. They ripped through five songs, with a smokin' hot version of Little Richard's Lucille a definite highlight. It's nothing short of astounding to think that this video shows a man just over a week from turning 75 years of age as he is in total command here. There are two videos of this performance floating around, but unfortunately both miss key shots. I combined the footage (along with the audio) to create what you see here. I don't own any of the footage, but just wanted the "definitive" version to be able to enjoy on YouTube. Hope y'all like it!
