Harley Edward Streten aka Flume has been one of my favorite artists for a long time. There is a really remarkable lifelike quality to his music: a sort of beating pulse to it - a touch of rare organic idiosyncrasy and unpredictability so hard to find in the overbearing formulaic and rigid framework of electronic music. The songs bloom and throb with the beat, and at their best moments, instill in me this incredible sense of vitality - they just make feel so alive. As a tribute to his incredible body of work, I present to you this mix - The Best of Flume. I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I did making it!
