I came up with the idea for this mix after hearing Shlohmo's "wen uuu." I just love how fluid this tracks sounds; the watery vocals that seep through the mellow synth leads, with drops of percussion making ripples in the pool of reverb. Every track featured in this mix I felt really captured this unique naturalistic sound. It's that earthy smell that comes after a thunderstorm, the feeling of breathing in cool morning fog, of rain dripping from palm trees onto your forehead, the refreshing coastal breeze on a summer evening. Its the sonic equivalent of samidare - early summer rain.
