HK 500 CMT first hover
First hover with the HK 500 CMT.
Originally this heli was setup with a Torque tube (mostly Align) but I had to remove it and setup the belt drive. I thought the tt was causing massive vibrations but it was a new hyper sensitive faulty HK401b that went nuts to the point where the boom supports came loose, the heli tipped and the carbon blades scraped the ground damaging the tips....saved it just in time, or the whole thing would have done a chicken dance.
