This was my second year in a row attending this race. It's one of my favorites of the 6 or 8 I've done so far!
I raced Cat 2 Sport 40-49. The course is generally rolling - very pedally. About 24 miles and just under 2000 feet of climbing.
Last year, I finished 12th of 33 with a time of 2:03:33 - about 15 minutes off the leader.
This year, I finished 8th of 27 with a time of 1:50:23, tied for 7th and about 7 minutes off the winning time!
I should have pushed harder at the start to get in the front. I was stuck behind lots of slower people once we hit single track.
I rode a Canyon Exceed hardtail with a 2.35 Ardent race front, 2.2 Ikon rear.
