What’s in store for ADR? If you ask me, I liken it to how hip and knee fusions became a thing of the past as replacements became more standard. Today, doctors still fuse spines all the time, often overlooking a patient’s candidacy for ADR instead.
Just as no one would consider fusing a hip or knee today, surgeons in the near future will opt for artificial disc replacements instead as the surgery becomes more widely adopted throughout the country.
