Building a new battery box: EV conversion upgrades part 1 (of many)
I make a start on my plan as laid out in the previous video, to turn my EV-swapped BMW Z3 into something that's faster, has more range, is more fun to drive, and easier to service. Oh, and warmer!
First step is to build a new, more compact battery box. In this video I get the frame made up and the sheet steel cut and bent, in spite of my welder failing and the rain barely stopping.
