DIY EV: Tuning trip in the Bugplug electric VW Beetle
I head over to the wrong side of the Pennines for a ride in Jamie Jones' ( / @jamiejones1985 ) EV converted VW Beetle. Jamie is running the same motor and inverter combo as me so we're trying to figure out why the motor keeps cutting out.
We look at temperature issues and the possibility of the motor and inverter getting out of sync.
