Best Helmet Light-The Streamlight Sidewinder Compact 2 | Military Approved & Night Vision Ready
Today we are looking at The Streamlight Compact 2 Helmet Light. This version is the full Milspec unit with Red, Blue, White and IR led. Not only is this a great helmet light, but a great compact and robust headtorch. There is no way any of my Petzl headtorches would be as tough as this and given its battery flexibilities , both CR123 and AA. Its a serious bit of small kit.
Under NVG use its about perfect for close up work and great for providing a small amount of light in those pitch black situations. Even the low power red more is subtle enough to be a covert light and with its flexible mounting options, its got you covered for any tactical and outdoor need.
