Cancer Survivor Sue Merritt Prepares for Ceremonial First Pitch at Fenway Park’s PMC Day
Cancer survivor and a member of the Living Proof community (pmc.org/volunteer/living-proof-volunteers), Sue Merritt was asked to throw out the ceremonial first pitch at this year’s 2018 Pan-Mass Challenge Day at Fenway Park.
After seeing one of our commercials on television, Sue reached out All Stars Academy (allstars-academy.com) for some pointers since she has never pitched a baseball before. Eager to help Sue get ready for such an amazing opportunity, Coach Matt spent the day with Sue giving her all the help she needed in preparation for the big day.
