EPIC Online Technology Meeting on Photonics for Climate Change Monitoring
Photonics is also helding an important role in the world of enviromental monitoring. Especially when it comes to monitoring different parameters related to climate change, photonics stand at the fore, with space-based applications and in-situ measurement devices. To name a few like LIDARs and remote sensing based on hyperspectral cameras and machine vision. These and other photonics technologies and applications interesting for the full value chain of enviromental monitoring will be the topic of this meeting and with the aim to understand better how photonics technologies can support the fight against climate change.
