Antonio López Palacios plays with a replica of "La Leona" by Antonio de Torres
Antonio López Palacios is one of the most outstanding classical guitarists in Mexico. In his long career he has given recitals in twelve different countries.
Here, in Badalona, he was the protagonist of the opening concert of our Guitar Festival in 2017. It should be noted that he performed the program with seven different guitars, from the exhibition of guitar-replicas of Antonio de Torres, which adds considerable difficulty to his performance.
In this video Antonio López Palacios is playing a replica of “La Leona”, a mythical guitar because the quality of its sound, built by Antonio de Torres in 1856. This replica is made by master luthier Carlos Juan Busquiel.
