In lieu of the Genshin 2.2 preview livestream and the Genshin anniversary concert, the entire game and community has been a complete dumpster fire over the last week, culminating in some of the most deplorable things that I have ever seen. Today I discuss the rest of the things on my mind that I couldn’t discuss last time.

The Genshin anniversary aftermath has been a complete donkey show and everything that I have seen has been both extremely sad and mesmerizing from the creativity that some of these people have had in directing their emotions toward the wrong things. This is both a bit of a continuation from the last video as well as an extension and reaction of what else is going on in the genshin space that want to talk about. I am extremely disappointed in both the community and Mihoyo for their actions and it saddens me how all of this has transpired.
As damage control Mihoyo released part of the concert pack that they were going to sell along side the anniversary concert, but is that really enough to satisfy the community? Because currently the community as a whole is completely divided right now. You have some players praising the company while others are relentlessly review bombing Genshin, Honkai Impact, Tears of Themis and other random games like Google Classroom and League of Legends.

Sylph Notes: Just when I thought that I would get a nice break to enjoy the very first ever sh!tcamp, I’m getting word everyday that the desks are being turned over and new fires and being lit. And I can’t believe what I see emerge everyday. The small subset of the community is insane and makes everyone that plays the game look bad. I love getting to enjoy the little things though, watching other streamers to make me laugh and inspire me, seeing Shang-Chi in theaters for the first time or even getting inspiration to write videos even when I’m not at home and on vacation. I don't know where I'm going with this but I never had as much fun in a long while then I did watching last week. Hopefully one day I'll get to be a part of something similar.
With Inazuma coming in 2.2 the real question is, will leaks ruin the game? In the battle of Tectone vs Mattjestic which side comes out on top? There’s pros and cons after all. Or how about the other age old debate, pay to win (whales) vs. free to play? One one end you have Mtashed, Enviosity and Dish repping f2p nation while on the other end you have Tenha, OkCode, Xlice, Tuonto, AsianGuyStream (Atsu) and Sekapokko that go full ham C6 every new banner. Either way I hope you are looking forward to Offline TV’s LilyPichu as she joins the cast of Genshin Impact as the voice of Sayu. What’s next? Maybe someone like Pokimane or Sykkuno will voice a future character. Youtube’s own Bwaap perhaps? But with the Genshin 1 year anniversary around the corner the real question is, will we get more than 108 primogems from Mihoyo? Can Raiden Shogun (Baal), Kokomi and Kujou Sara save the game?
