Digital Entrepreneurship opens doors in Rural India with TCS BridgeIT program
BridgeIT, a corporate social responsibility initiative of Tata Consultancy Services Limited, bridges the access and competency gap between socially marginalized communities and the mainstream society using #technology as a medium. It demonstrates the use of #IT as a key enabler in creation of #entrepreneurs, school education and adult #literacy in #rural villages of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajashthan, Haryana, Odisha, Bihar, West Bengal, Karnataka and Mizoram. The project is helping dismantle the limitations that marginalize Tribals, Dalits and has helped them to be in the mainstream through their newly acquired digital tools.
