Below is the second part of our presentation on ionizing radiation-emitting equipment. We will focus on the basic description of the main equipment used for remote radiotherapy treatment, also known as teletherapy. We will review both linear accelerators and Cobalt-60 units, with particular emphasis on radiation protection methods for personnel, the public, and patients in this clinical practice.
