Rebuilding My Turbo K20a because of a big mistake (part 2)

(1:17) Removing Cam Caps/Bolts
(1:23) Removing Timing Cover
(1:30) Removing Chain, Guide, Tensioner
(1:37) Removing ValveTrain and Cams
(1:43) Removing Head Bolts
(2:06) Removing K20 Head
(2:15) Removing Oil Pan
(2:39) Removing Oil Pump
(3:05) Removing Crank Cradle

After getting the engine off the ground and able to work on off of the engine stand I start from the valve cover working my way down to the crank.

This video will show removing the valve cover, cams, valve train, cylinder head, oil pump, timing cover, timing chain, oil pan, and the crank girdle.

This took me roughly 1 hour from start to finish.

Now that I'm to this point, I need to use the "phone a friend" to help me with the right oil clearance on the main bearings for the crank. Luckily, I know a guy down the road from me that has done this a few times vs my 0 times.

Once that is measured, I can then order the correct bearings and start assembly to get back on the road.

In the next video I have a few goodies from JHPUSA that will go into the hatch.
