K series Detent Springs Install
K series Detent springs are one of the first things I’ve heard to do for cleaner crisper “if that’s a word” shifts.
In this video I’m going to show you where to install these & also the gear selector in the shift selector which is another common problem with having lockout issues.

At PowerCruise, I had problem after problem trying to find 3rd gear & sometimes even 4th. This is a new transmission & you’ll see within the video I was using a Conpetition Clutch Twin Disk that had close to zero life left in it.
I replace the clutch with a new one a local buddy had. Installed a new Pilot bearing since the trans, clutch and flywheel was off. To replacing the detent springs, as well as the shift selector gear. Tossed some Honda bond on it & now we pray.
Nothing is more irritating than not being able to shift correctly or even worse… losing the roll race you’ve picked.
