LYRICS:
Everybody’s a critic
Point their finger so quick
With no contribution
No ideas, no wit
Always told to be careful
Not to appear
Out of line, out of mind
Residing in fear
“What will people say” is all you hear
Is something there to talk about
The noise drowning out
Any reason to reason
echo chambers resound
So much animosity
Disguised as discourse
Who hurt who, who struck first
What’s it all worth
What will people say is all you hear
Is there a reason
To hold onto fear
Mistakes or missteps
Year after year
voice for the voiceless
Is there a way
If they could speak up
what would they say
What will people say
And can you hear?
