Matthew: This speaks directly to DevOps as well, because when we start talking about control planes and managing that, we're often talking about having multiple services that make up your application, and how we manage all that stuff, or deploy our application and the various pieces of the application. Do you want to talk a little bit more about that, Tendai?
Tendai: Sure. We actually have a DevOps workshop that we like to give. It encompasses not only DevOps, but it is for companies that are looking to adopt these newer and modern development methodologies. The first piece of that training is focused on adopting a DevOps Culture. That’s because DevOps really helps ensure that the modernization effort is successful.
One of the main principles of DevOps is really tearing down that wall between development and operations to really foster a culture where teams take end-to-end ownership of the application or service they’re developing – from inception all the way through operations. The types of people that are on that team would be very similar to developers, meaning you’re taking more of a developer mindset even as you’re operating these services.
I feel that’s really critical to being successful in these modernization efforts.
