I've wanted to vid this song for these two since I watched season one but it's just one of those songs that needs the entire story to be played out so I waited. And their last scene in 7.09 broke me on every possible level because I remain convinced that Eric Northman will love Sookie Stackhouse for the rest of his eternal life. His face when he's not looking at her speaks volumes. He wants her to be happy. And in that moment, in that season specifically, he's accepted that she will only truly be happy if he is not in her life.
I want to die :)
