Guadalupe River during a drought but still catching fish!
Roger and I went and caught a few sunnies and Roger even hooked into a really nice bass and a couple gar. Unfortunately he didn't get to bring them to net but still it was awesome seeing those thrash the surface. It was nice being out after my surgery for the first time. I will admit, towards the end of the day it was getting quite uncomfortable casting, especially longer casts, however it really wasn't too bad. Cannot wait to get out again here. I just pray we get some rain because soon there will be no water at all. That whole river bed should have been covered with water. Roger said its never been this low, but this will make a good spot to bring the kids for the fishing class as they will not need to get in the water if they do not need to, but also have some back cast room.
