The New Baja Truck is a BEAST! - BeamNG 0.27 Dunekicker Johnson Valley Update
The SP Dunekicker is a fully fledged trophy truck in BeamNG, faster and more durable than the Pre-Runner! Baja trucks are exceptional vehicles, capable of jumps, stunts and off-road terrain even the most expensive WRC rally cars wouldn't dream of, and it takes a soft body simulator like BeamNG.drive to fully appreciate how indestructible these trucks are. The new map, Johnson Valley, adds plenty of terrain that really allows all the new off-roaders to shine.
The fenders behave much better than they did on the Pre-Runner, withstanding light impacts with barriers and other trucks much better and not wedging into the wheels nearly as easily. It'll be amazing to race these in BeamMP on stadium courses, and it feels fantastic when you find the groove on a harsh off-road baja trail and float over it at 100 MPH on the edge of control.
The AI are also surprisingly good at driving these on an off-road course, though still not quite on the level of a quick race mode just yet.
