Proverbs of Solomon, Chapter 31
Verse 10 - 00:25 - Who can find a worthy woman? For her price is far above rubies.
Verse 11 - 00:42 - The heart of her husband trusts in her. He shall have no lack of gain.
Verse 12 - 00:58 - She does him good, and not harm, All the days of her life.
Verse 13 - 01:15 - She seeks wool and flax, And works eagerly with her hands.
Verse 14 - 01:23 - She is like the merchant ships. She brings her bread from afar.
Verse 15 - 01:41 - She rises also while it is yet night, Gives food to her household, And portions for her servant girls.
Verse 16 - 02:08 - She considers a field, and buys it. With the fruit of her hands, she plants a vineyard.
Verse 17 - 02:26 - She girds her waist with strength, And makes her arms strong.
Verse 18 - 02:50 - She perceives that her merchandise is profitable. Her lamp doesn't go out by night.
Verse 19 - 03:13 - She lays her hands to the distaff, And her hands hold the spindle.
Verse 20 - 03:40 - She opens her arms to the poor; Yes, she extends her hands to the needy.
Verse 21 - 04:05 - She is not afraid of the snow for her household; For all her household are clothed with scarlet.
Verse 22 - 04:37 - She makes for herself carpets of tapestry. Her clothing is fine linen and purple.
Verse 23 - 05:05 - Her husband is respected in the gates, When he sits among the elders of the land.
Verse 24 - 05:20 - She makes linen garments and sells them, And delivers sashes to the merchants.
Verse 25 - 05:44 - Strength and dignity are her clothing. She laughs at the time to come.
Verse 26 - 06:05 - She opens her mouth with wisdom. Faithful instruction is on her tongue.
Verse 27 - 06:25 - She looks well to the ways of her household, And doesn't eat the bread of idleness.
Verse 28 - 06:58 - Her children rise up and call her blessed. [07:29] Her husband also praises her:
Verse 29 - 07:42 - "Many women do noble things, But you excel them all."
Verse 30 - 08:08 - Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain; But a woman who fears God, she shall be praised.
Verse 31 - 08:54 - Give her of the fruit of her hands! Let her works praise her in the gates!
