The Velair Self-Contained Variable Speed Drive (VSD) Marine Air Conditioners Provide the Best of the Existing Technology. They are efficient, compact, low noise, and built to provide long-lasting comfort while boating.
We offer three variations of the systems available in 10,000, 16,000, and 21,000 BTU/h outputs.
Velair uses technology similar to what’s used in residential air conditioning. The benefits include:
Runs on an inverter instead of a generator: It can be run on shore power or a battery with minimal noise and vibrations
Can be operated remotely via WiFi with the Velair app: Create your own cooling schedule to reduce cabin humidity to minimize mold and mildew growth
Maintains consistent cabin temperature (within 0.5°C) without power spikes: Highly efficient with low electricity consumption
Can be used as a heater in cooler weather: Reverse cycle heat pump can be when water temperatures are above 41° F/5°C
