Slavic Secrets #23: Apple Patties
Pies and patties with different fillings were, are and will always be amongst the favorite delicacies of Russia. In this video I'll share my version of quick and easy apple filling, also showing where you can use the apple peel. Please yourself and your loved ones with these delicious apple patties!
Ingredients:
Leaven:
60 g flour;
250 ml milk;
25 g fresh yeast;
1 tsp. sugar.
Dough:
270 g leaven;
500 g flour;
30 g sugar;
50 g butter;
2 eggs;
A pinch of salt;
1 egg (for baking);
20 g of vegetable oil.
Filling:
4 apples;
1 dsp. starch;
1 tbsp. sugar.
