Rendering with Cycles in VUE 2024 (Technology preview)
VUE 2024 adds support for rendering scenes with Cycles 3.6 through the Hydra USD bridge. Learn how to setup a scene for Cycles in this quick tip.
Note: Since the recording of this video, a bug has been introduced in the interactive rendering mode in the viewports for EcoSystems. When rendering a scene with a material EcoSystem, the interactive render gets caught up in an endless loop. You can circumvent this problem by moving all EcoSystem items to a global EcoSystem in the scene. This problem does not occur when doing an offline render.
Due to VUE 2024 being an unfinished beta release, this bug was unfortunately not fixed before the freeware release.
