Tanaris, the perfect picture’s desert : sand, scorpions, pirates, a burning sun during day time and a starry sky at night !
Although the zone is a beautiful one, it’s also one of the most dangerous ones in WoW Classic, and the local dungeon, Zul’Farrak, makes no exception ! Tanaris is the main headquarter of the Steamwheedle Cartel, Gadgetzan being the primary hub.
Gadgetzan, is one of the neutral towns in WoW Vanilla : Horde and Alliance have to coexist in the city. There’s a bank and a cross faction auction house in the city center, which makes Tanaris a pretty popular zone.
Zul’Farrak is one of the main attractions in Tanaris : it’s a dungeon for players between level 44 and 54, probably one of the last dungeons before the huge Blackrock Mountains mega dungeon !
The cavern of times is also conveniently located in Tanaris but it was not available in the Classic/Vanilla World of Warcraft era : it opened up to players during The Burning Crusade expansion.
