Alpha Forever - AFNoding 030 - Building a modular reverb effect
Alpha Forever Modular is the ideal tool to build your custom effects, even such complex ones as a reverb. Reverberation is a complex topic, but the algorithm Balázs is presenting you during this session is simple to build and still sounds great. The final patch can be extended further to your needs: it should not be a problem to add parameters such as Dry / Wet, or make the reverb more dense by adding some more allpass filters into the chain. It also invites you to experiment with delay times, different modulation techniques, and inserting completely unorthodox things into the feedback loop.
