The Scheduling Board allows enormous flexibility to display the work in ways that are most helpful to each person in their role.
How the dispatcher wants to see the jobs displayed may be very different than how the office manager wants to see the information. Each can individually setup the screen to their liking without affecting how others will view the screen.
You can change the schedule to reflect a different day or time or person simply by dragging and dropping the job to the new position on the board. Behind the scenes the information on your data form is adjusted to reflect the change you just made.
Notice for Route Optimization the work assigned to Adam Smith is selected. The scheduler is then defining which job should be first and which is last, and the system looks at the maps to determine the best sequence for the route. If the scheduler then elects to use the optimized route, the system moves the jobs into the correct sequence on the job board and allocates the travel time needed between each job.
