Lahore: (Dunya News) The budget was approved in the 72nd meeting of the Board of Governors of the Pakistan Cricket Board.
The meeting was held in the board room of the National Cricket Academy, Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi presided over the meeting of the Board of Governors.During the meeting, Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi informed the Board of Governors about the upgrading of stadiums in Lahore, Rawalpindi and Karachi. 12 billion 80 crore rupees have been allocated while funds of 4 billion 50 crore rupees have been kept for the promotion of domestic cricket.It was decided in the meeting that PCB will take care of 12 grounds by itself for the promotion of domestic cricket, PCB will also provide funds for staff and maintenance of 100 grounds across Pakistan.Speaking during the meeting of the Board of Governors, Chairman Mohsin Naqvi said that the upgradation work of the stadiums will be completed before the Champions Trophy. Arrangements will be made according to international standards, new venues for tournaments and matches are being worked on.
