VariCAD - Creating a Section of 3D Solid
To create a new section, run Section manager or simply click a solid you want to be sectioned. Define section name and select contours of a new section by sketching. As a sketching plane in this example was selected a plane originally detected. After the contours of section are created, original outlines are deleted and location and height of extruded section tool are selected automatically. The section is turned on at the end.
