VariCAD – Inserting Parts from Mechanical Parts Library
You can insert any part from library, selecting group of parts from menu (for instance, DIN screws) and then define part’s dimensions. Apart of this, you can right-click a 3D solid. If available according to detected object, pop-up menu offers insertion of screws, nuts, bearings etc. This example shows insertion of a screw into previously drilled hole (the hole has greater diameter than the screw) and insertion of a pin into second hole. Diameters of the screw and pin are pre-selected according to diameters of holes. Lengths of these parts are pre-selected according to measured distance.
