Gold Inlay On Upper Second Molar (Full Procedure And Commentary) | Indirect Case #2
In this video I remove my patient's inadequate gold inlay from her upper second molar, and replace it with a new gold inlay. The original one was not fitting properly, and the patient was feeling some sensitivity.
We removed the original gold inlay, cleaned the tooth, re-prepared the tooth to add retention and then smoothed off the preparation. We made a temporary inlay, and then cemented it in. In the second half of the video we remove the temporary inlay, try-in the gold inlay and then cement it into place.
There are lots of tips about how to do the procedure, and it would be helpful to watch for a patient who is interested in this treatment.
