This patient came in for an examination without any concerns. It wasn't until we took X-rays that we saw that his ceramic onlay was a problem waiting to happen. The back of the onlay had a large gap that was leading to decay forming a cavity.
We decided to replace it with a new ceramic onlay using CEREC from @DentsplySirona . I removed the old onlay, cleaned the decay, prepared the tooth for the new onlay, designed it, and cemented it into place. I also did this procedure completely using rubber dam. We cemented this with Panavia cement.
