Bon Jovi | 2nd Night auf Kaufman Astoria Studios | Uncut Raw Tape | New York 1992
Over the course of two nights (October 24th and 25th), Bon Jovi taped their performances at the Kaufman Astoria for the legendary comeback MTV special "An Evening With Bon Jovi". From these two nights, the strongest versions were chosen, edited together and other songs got completely dropped. This is the raw Soundboard capture of the first of these nights! The band had lost a bit of the "stage fright" from the previous show and felt more excited to play as well.
The sound was clear, but overall sterile, a little metallic and not well balanced. I spent a lot of time going back and fourth, trying to keep the nice clarity while adding more of a body to the sound and more of a live feel. In the end, I think I found settings that achieved both goals quite nicely.
Sound remastered!
